Acrylic Earrings, Pewter Setting

0.00

I make my acrylic earrings from acrylic skins. Skins are fluid acrylic paints that start out being poured onto freezer paper and manipulated, same as on my canvases. When the paint is dry, it has a plastic consistency and can be peeled off the paper!

I then look for small areas with interesting colors and compositions. Some are completely abstract; others look like tiny landscapes, seascapes or floral. Most have extra sparkle added with iridescent glitter. Each piece is unique and cannot be reproduced.

This miniature work of art is glued to a glass cabochon, then glued into a metal pendant tray.

  • Paint Colors in this pair: Blue, black. Sprinkled with iridescent glitter

  • Setting: Pewter

  • Earring size: 5/8 in (16 mm)

Put it in my Bag!
