Last night hubby Ron and I went to Halle Arts Center to set everything up for the show. He installed the hardware and had to leave so I was on my own for the 'software'.

Now, I've set up gazillions of outdoor and indoor art fair type shows and a few gallery ones as well, but never one in display cases. This turned out to be very challenging. First, because the cases open from the back, you're seeing everything from the back and have to keep climbing out of the case to see what it looks like from the front. And then I don't do stooping, bending and kneeling well because of bad knees. There are 2 large cases like the one in the photo, and 2 small ones about half that size. It got really physically uncomfortable in a hurry!
To add insult to injury, my scarves seemed to have dipped themselves in super-slinky juice overnight because they just refused to stay on the hanging rods, sliding off even as I'm trying to tape them! They had behaved quite well when I tried them on the rods at home. So set up took a lot longer than I expected and I was so happy to have finished, I forgot to take photos of the finished displays! Oh well... I'll get those at the opening on Friday.
