I did another scarf (top pic) using the same screen and dyes as in this previous post. This time I laid the screen at right angles to the scarf, so the design is quite different to the first scarf (bottom pic), where the screen was aligned with the scarf. The first one was done on a semi-sheer crepe de chine, while this one was screened on a heavier habotai. Interestingly, the heavier silk took up much more of the dyes and resulted in more intense colors.
