Trying To Beat The Clock...

Nine days to go till the Lazy Daze Arts Festival here in Cary and I've been a scarf-dyeing crazy lady for the past several days. Since I almost sold out of the scarves I had at my last show in Asheville, I need to replenish my stock plus I'm aiming to double my inventory in time for Lazy Daze.  Good luck to me! Scarves are pretty much all I've sold at my last couple of shows, so even though - as they say on the stock market - past history is no guarantee of future performance, that is what I'm going on right now.

I'm doing lots of shibori scarves, since those are the least time consuming for me to do, and I did well with them at the last show. Here are a few pole-wrapped ones that I've managed to photograph so far. I'll try to remember to photograph the wrapping next time!

Some subtle designs...

...and some not so subtle  :)

The scarf that I started at my demo (previous post) will have to wait as it requires more thought and I'm short on brain time at the moment!
