Ready For Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Show on Saturday!

My van is packed to the hilt, weather is supposed to be dry and not too sweltering. Lazy Daze in downtown Cary is one of the largest outdoor shows in this area. It's usually one of the hottest days of the year, but droves of people still come. This year should be a tad cooler than usual (high 80's instead of 90's), so it should be more pleasant.

I've just got a new display system that I'm anxious to try out. I've been coveting pricey Pro Panels for a long time and got lucky recently when I found an artist just 20 minutes away from me who was selling her gently-used system. The Pro Panels are much more versatile than the canvas panels I was using before. But since they are rigid they take up way more room in the van than the folding canvas - Ron and I had quite a challenge to fit everything in. I have just enough room to sit in the passenger seat without butting my head against the panel legs! Ron plans to cut these and make a threaded joint so they'll fit better in the van - we just screw the legs back on when we get to the show. Here's the stuffed van. Yes, my paintings are in there somewhere! Somehow this load gets transformed into a self contained mini-gallery!
