More Cherry Blossoms 2

Deborah Younglao silk paintingAlmost finished! I need to work on some of the shadow areas. The bud should be darker and the shaded blossom in the upper right got too greeny - it should be more bluey.

I seem to be moving through this painting more quickly than the first one - I think because not masking areas with wax allows me to better see what I'm doing. But it's still strange not having the dyes flowing. (See previous post)

The bottom photo shows the whole thing covered with wax and cracked, after making my adjustments. Looks a bit scary doesn't it?
Deborah Younglao silk paintingLike in the previous painting, I'm going to paint pale bluish-grey dye over it and let the dye seep into the cracks to create a veiny texture.
